Therapy for Compassion Fatigue and Burnout

Compassion fatigue often affects caregivers & helping professionals. It is considered to be the result of working directly with victims of disasters, trauma, or illness, especially in the health care industry. Individuals working in other helping professions are also at risk for experiencing compassion fatigue.

Burn-out often happens as a result of chronic stress that has not been successfully managed. It can feel like energy depletion or exhaustion; increased mental distance, or feelings of negativism or cynicism.

As your therapist I can help you to connect the dots between your compassion fatigue and/or burnout symptoms and get to the root of the problem.

Let's work together to identify what you need to work through in order to move towards your wellness goals.
